The selection of attendees for the courses run at the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies is performed via ACT MPD for ACT events and the Human Resources Management Directorate of the Romanian Ministry of National Defense for bilateral agreements. Meals, accommodation, transportation from/to the airport are provided by DRESMARA free of charge only for bilateral agreements. DRESMARA will not cover accommodation, meals and transportation costs outside the course period. For partners who have not signed bilateral agreements there is an opportunity to follow ACT MPD Management Guidance and to have all costs covered by ACT. Costs are as follows:

• Course fee = around 30 EUR
• Tuition fee = 160 EUR / week / participant (weekend days excluded)
• Lodging at DRESMARA hotel = 25 EUR /day /person
• Meals = 25 EUR /day /person

1. Via ACT MPD
All our courses are included on ePRIME (Partnership Real-Time Information Management and Exchange System), which is the official event management and education platform for NATO Partnership, (https://prime.hq.nato.int).
If you decide that one or more of our courses are of great interest and importance for you or your personnel career, we will be delighted to welcome you in Romania as our students.

According to the Military Partnership Division (MPD) Guidance, the financial policy is applicable for all costs mentioned in the Invitations (tuition fee, lodging, per-diem, transportation from/to Bucharest Airport to/from Brasov and course fee), which are offered by DRESMARA and reimbursed by MPD after the event completes.

In order to become a course participant in our Partner Education and Training Center (PTEC), the structures responsible for managing this type of activities in your Ministry of Defense should:

• Receive the invitation to the course from ACT;
• Fill and send the Application Form to our Points of Contact (POC) and a copy of it to the Military Partnership Division Activity Coordination;
• Prepare request to NATO for financial support through the Financial Assistance Request Form - FARF (Annex D) and send it to the MPD Activity Coordination and the MPD SENF Fund Manager

The Sending Partner Nation’s only responsibility is to purchase the international airline ticket for the participant(s). After the event, the expense will be reimbursed by MPD (in accordance with MPD Financial Guidance) in the bank account indicated for reimbursement in FARF by Sending Nation. In special cases, the Partner Nation is entitled to a prepaid ticket procured by MPD, only if the exceptional circumstances are indicated in FARF.

Each Nation could send up to 2 (two) subsidized participants for each of DRESMARA’s courses.

In conclusion, for the Sending Partner Nation there is an initial cost – international transportation – which will be reimbursed by MPD after the course completes. The rest of the course costs fall under the responsibility of DRESMARA and MPD.
For courses addressed to subsidized countries by ACT, fill up and send:

• the Application Form - 30 days prior to the beginning of the course;
• the Financial Assistance Request Form - 30 days prior to the beginning of the course

2. Via Bilateral Agreements
For courses addressed to Partnership and Bilateral Plans fill in and send:

• the Request for Quota(s) - 90 days prior to the beginning of the course
• the Application Form - 60 days prior to the beginning of the course
